    Situated on a large corner site, at the corner of Station Road / Western Road (A272) and Jackies Lane in Newick, some 9 miles north of Lewes, 5 miles east of Uckfield and 6 miles west of Haywards Heath. The location affords easy access across Mid Sussex via the A272 which is turn leads to major arterial routes including the A22, A26, A23. The entire site extends to some 13.62 acres (5.51 ha) and shares an access driveway with two residential dwellings which are not included with the sale. The charity currently occupy the three main buildings on the site, together with the adjoining car parking areas, walled garden, orchard, pond and associated fields. The main use across the site appears to be D1, although part of the main building is used as offices (B1). C2 consent was granted in 1992 but never implemented. The office building was originally constructed as a Victorian family home in 1889. In 2004 a single storey Day Care centre was added which is arranged as four large therapy rooms (including gym, wood work, crafts), two office / meeting rooms, a kitchen area and WCs. Headway East Sussex is a specialist charity, set up in 1988 providing specialist rehabilitation / support care for people who have suffered brain injuries.
